Breton Seah(26) 1st Entry

In New York the use of surveillance camera is used for many reasons and some of the main reason is to prevent terrorist  attacks and robbery. Ever since the cameras were installed, the rate of robbery has dropped drastically. Now they want to install cameras all over the city especially the financial district where is is prone to many terrorist attacks. The cameras are arranged in a order till it got a nick name as the "ring of steel". Although the government feels good about watching what is happening around the city, many people are against the idea of having this system as the do not like to be watched wherever they go and some find it scary to be watched at all the time. But the government find it useful as surveillance camera help the police find the suspects for last years London Bombing. The Police also find them useful and they also became one of their detective tool. Many people think that the camera has invaded their privacy too much but the government says that the camera were not hidden and there is no sense of invading any privacy.
