I am Sylvester Tan Yi Shen, reg no. 29, and I am currently studying in Maris Stella High School in Secondary 2 Francis. I will venture to defend my family, friends and country whenever help is needed.
I want to protect my family as they have shown me love, concern, comfort and support. My parents have raised me up to become a good person and readied me for the world. My siblings have also been a listening ear whenever I'm down and I would like to repay them by protecting them at all costs.
My friends are important because they also encourage me and helped me in all the ways I can think of, in shapes of helping me with homework or even standing up against those who bully me.
Safeguarding my country is also what I would do because it is my home and where most of my memories origin. Singapore has also given me education, exposure and protection, the latter which I can do to repay it.
