What Will I Defend? - Marc Wee (36)

I am Marc Wee register number 36 of class 2 Francis from Maris Stella High School, and when the time comes, i will want to defend my Family, my Friends and my Country as all these are without a doubt the three most important factors in my life.

Firstly, i will definitely defend my family as they are the dearest to me and they have always been there for me. My family has also taken care of me, supported me, encouraged me and always did what was best for me. My family members have also given me a lot of fun, enjoyable,happy and joyful memories that i will never forget.

Secondly, i will defend my friends as they are the ones who help me when i have difficulty with my homework and supported me in school, my friends also help keep my work on track if i am sick and did not come to school.

Lastly, i will protect my country as it is my homeland and where i am born in and i will serve my country next time when i go to National Service (NS). Although Singapore is a very small country, it is still more developed than a lot of other countries and the streets are always safe due to Singapore's strict laws. Singapore has no natural resources but still it has managed to go through thick and thin in the past years. Singapore has truly proven to be a very independent country, that is why i want to do my part to protect my country next time.
