The advantages of having CCT surveillance are there will be less police to patrol the street and people will think twice to commit a crime which will decrease the crime rate. But having so many CCT surveillance in city the government will need to invest a lot of money to install the equipment and by putting so many CCT surveillance people will feel their privacy disturbed.
According to me the crime rate in Singapore is good already.At this moment the government no need to invest so much money in installing CCT surveillance.They can use the money to create more job for the jobless to ease the growing of the unemployment rate
