I agree with Glenn that if a lot of CCTVs are installed it will cost a lot of money and public will not feel secure as policemen may be listening to their private conversation however , i disagree that the CCTVs can be hacked as the cameras are mostly in public and important places such as the bank,so there will be people around so it is hard to hack the CCTVs.Policemen can patrol around places with little CCTVs such as neighbourhood areas and citizens should also do their part to prevent crime by reporting to police if they witnessed any robbery or someone commiting a crime.
